Description 
Cabernet Franc is the most important variety of the wine region and of our winery aswell. Our franc is growing on 4.5 hectares in Csikorgó, the southern side of the Diósviszló hill. With a low vineyard load, a lot of green work, repeated bunch selection, after hand harvesting and gentle destemminng, only the finest grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks, with a much shorter maceration than usual. Pressed immediately after fermentation to avoid too much tannin extraction. We concentrate on the fruit. First aged in tanks on fine lees, then for two years in 225 litre French and Hungarian oak barrels. Only a third was new barrel to be sure that the oak doesn't dominating the fruitness.
