The Szív Királynő (Queen of Hearts character) represents the spicier, more expressive side of our red wines – a strong, commanding counterpart to Aliz within our storytelling universe. The wine has been part of our range since 2017: originally a Syrah-based blend, complemented first by Kékfrankos and later by a touch of New-World-inspired Cabernet Sauvignon.

But both our own experience and feedback from our partners pointed clearly in one direction: Syrah alone has all the character, depth and excitement this role requires.

Since the 2021 vintage the wine has been 100% Syrah, sourced from the hilltop vineyard of Diósviszló. Vibrant, spicy and complex, shaped by hand harvesting, careful bunch and berry selection, fermentation in tank and open vat, followed by 14 months of ageing in 500-liter French oak barrels.

A bold, elegant and distinctive red – exactly what a true Queen should be.
